Places to Visit in Juneau, Alaska ↠ Shrine of St. Therese.

I'm not catholic, but Shrine of St. Therese is one of my favorite spots in Juneau. Let me tell you why...

The shrine sits at the end of a little piece of land that juts out from the shore, so you're surrounded by ocean and gorgeous mountain views. At the end of the trail, the land goes up a bit so it's a perfect spot to get some great pictures and look out at the beautiful scenery. And if you're lucky, you might spot some whales and sea lions!

It's also one of the most peaceful places around. I've been there twice now, and it doesn't matter if you're the only one there or if there are lots of people, everyone is very quiet and respectful there. It's a great place to get a bit of time to reflect.

Are any of you planning on visiting Juneau this summer? If so, I definitely recommend adding the shrine to your list of places to visit. Make it a pit stop on your drive up North along the coast!
