Dave and I are always on the hunt for the best local sandwich shop everywhere we go, and we're lucky to have found one quickly in Baltimore. We love to grab sandwiches on the way out of town for a road trip since it's less messy and healthier than most other options.
Bon Fresco makes their own delicious bread from scratch. That sold us on giving it a try and we weren't disapointed! From their Facebook page: "Koh is so passionate about bread that he won't take shortcuts in the 30-hour process that takes him from mixing to kneading to overnight refrigeration to baking. He goes through more than 50 pounds of flour a day for the baguettes, ciabatta rolls, and focaccia that give his sandwiches real distinction." Yes please!
I tried the Veggie Sandwich and had them add turkey. Next time I'm going in extra hungry so I have room for the Almond Cheese Croissant. Yum! I also really want to try breakfast at Bon Fresco soon...I'll let you know how it is. ;)
