Mother's Day Mini Sessions and Party at Barr Mansion in Austin, Texas!

Ladies, I am soooooo excited to announce this! If you live in or near Austin, Texas, I'd like to invite you to a Mother's Day Mini Session Party at Barr Mansion! The party is Mother's Day weekend from 10am-3pm, Saturday the 9th and Sunday the 10th of May. This party will be two fun afternoons full of champagne, sweet treats, and family portraits. Three of my favorite things. ;)

The photo session slots are $99 for a 45 minute session, and each lady who books a session (or gets one as a Mother's Day present...hint hint, husbands) will receive a special goodie bag full of gift cards and discounts to some of Austin's best shops! I'll have special mini session priced print packages available for your in-home viewing once the pictures are ready.

I hope to see you then! It's going to be a great time and Barr Mansion is so gorgeous, we're going to get some beautiful family portraits out there. Lindsey and Jeff's Engagement Party.

A few weeks before I made it out here to Alaska, I was able to make a trip up to Kansas City for one of my best friend's engagement parties. Lindsey and I have been friends since the 3rd grade and I'm so excited to be part of she and Jeff's big day that's coming up! The weekend I spent in Kansas City was a fun one filled with everyone in town to celebrate Lindsey and Jeff, topped off with a gorgeous engagement party thrown by her uncle. The only part of the weekend I didn't enjoy was leaving.

Lindsey and Jeff, I couldn't be happier for the two of you, and I can't wait for all of the celebrations to come...congrats!

Also, I'm pretty sure this is my favorite part of being a photographer, getting to capture family and friends at events like this and knowing it's something that they'll be just as excited about as I am. I've always been an obsessive picture taker at things like this, but it's a lot more fun now that I have my Canon and can get the shot that I have pictured in my head. Lindsey's family (pictured above) is like family to me and I loved getting to document these moments for them. I hope you all love them and I can't wait to see you ladies soon!
