Places to Eat in Austin, Texas ↠ Bouldin Creek Cafe.

I stumbled upon Bouldin Creek Cafe in Austin, Texas when I was searching for the perfect lunch spot for a lunch date with my friend Ketrin (thanks, Zomato). We both love restaurants with healthy, natural, and vegan options so this place was a no brainer! I got the Buddha Bowl with Lavender Lemonade (YUM), and I really want to make another trip soon to try the Ruby Reuben.

The location is an adorable little cafe in Central Austin, very eclectic, just my style...

If you live in Austin (or make a trip here), I definitely recommend making a stop here, especially if you need a lighter option after indulging in travel food for a few days. ;) Their food will leave you satisfied, but not feeling like a gluten for punishment. Win-win.

Places to Visit in Juneau, Alaska ↠ Skater's Cabin.

Skater's Cabin in Juneau, Alaska is a fun place to stop on your way to (or from) West Glacier Trail. It has some of the best views of Mendenhall Glacier and (what looks like) a tiny Nugget Falls in the distance, which makes it a perfect photo opportunity spot.

There are also picnic tables, to stop and eat (make sure to discard trash, don't want to invite the bears) and the cabin is available to rent. One of my friends in Juneau got married here and I was asked to photograph the wedding, but sadly I already had tickets to fly home and visit my family for a few weeks so I missed out. What a gorgeous view for a wedding though!
