Juneau, Alaska...family vacation style part 3, West Glacier Trail.

The last day my Dad and brother were in town started off looking like a typical Juneau day and ended up being gorgeous (they really lucked out on their visit). We hiked West Glacier Trail, visited the brewery, had lunch at Island Pub, and then went up Mt. Roberts Tramway for a bit more hiking. Needless to say, we sent them on their morning flight the next day ready to relax and nap the whole way home.

West Glacier Trail is a great workout if you really want a good uphill climb, this is it. Plus, the view is unreal...

Juneau, Alaska...family vacation style part 2, Fishing Trip.

Another fun thing we did while my Dad and brother were in Juneau was a day full of fishing. Unfortunately, we didn't catch anything...not one little fish. We were a bit early in the season. But, we had fun hanging out, seeing Juneau from the water, and of course drinking some beer. What's fishing without some brews? No fun, that's what...

...we even tried checking on the crab pots, and they were empty as well. Bummer. Guess there's always next time!
