Walks with Atka ≫≫ my new favorite pastime.

One of my favorite things about having Atka is the fact that it forces us to get out and go for walks more often. Like I said in my last post, Juneau has decided to grace us with some extra wonderful weather lately and I love having one more reason to get out and enjoy it as much as possible! (Is it sad I get excited about 45 and sunny?) The views aren't so bad either...

I apologize in advance for the volume of pictures below, but a new puppy and a new camera are a bad combination (or a great one) when it comes to keeping the picture taking in check. Oh and, don't mind (or judge) my crazy sweat pants, we walked for over 3 miles on sometimes rough terrain so I wanted to be comfy. ;)

I don't know if you can tell, but in the last few pictures Atka was leaning on me so hard I was falling down the hill, that's why I'm cracking up. She's hilarious.

Spring in Alaska...almost.

I hate to talk about the weather and I hate to brag, but...we had THE most gorgeous weather the past few weeks. Downright perfection. I could ask for it to be teeny bit warmer, but beggars can't be choosers. It was glorious...until it wasn't.

Now we're getting more snow (whyyyyy) and lots of rain, but I'm holding out hope that this weekend is going to be as wonderful as they're saying. In the 50's AND sunny? Sign me up! I want to get out and take pictures, especially since my new (to me) Canon 5d Mark II is supposed to be here tomorrow and I can not wait.

I'm already planning all kinds of adventures for my new camera, rain or shine I'll be taking a million pictures this weekend. I've waited for what seems like forever for this and I'm soooooo excited. What do you have planned for the rest of your week?
