Hello again, this time from Alaska!

Friends, I can't tell you all how much I miss writing in this space and how much I just adore all of your sweet comments on all of my pictures while I posted so many of them on Instagram in lieu of writing on here. I'm so thankful for all of you and love having you all along for this crazy ride. If you've never said hello on here before (or even if you have, and maybe it's been awhile), please make sure to do so and introduce yourself!

I'll leave you with the first Alaska pictures from my "good" camera...I hope you enjoy them and I can't wait to share more! We're hoping to move into our place by this weekend, please keep us in your thoughts as we make a decision on a place and that everything goes smoothly.

I'll talk about it a little bit more once I have some time to digest, but the beauty here is beyond anything I could have ever imagined. I'm not sure that someone could even capture the essence of this gorgeous state, but I sure am going to try my darndest.

...by the way, the dog in the above pictures is Dave's friend's Alaskan Malamute named Bandit. Is he not the coolest looking dog you ever did see? I love him.

I've loved this outfit lately because it's cute, yet professional. I really enjoy getting dressed for the day (when you work from home this is optional), and lately I've found that if I do it first thing in the morning I tend to be more productive throughout the day. Even though, I will admit, some days it's much more appealing to wait until noon to get out of my comfy pants…

ty much buy everything there, and if you ask my Mom I live there part-time. Somehow she always ends up calling me on my way to/from or while I’m at Target. What can I say? I love it. A lot. Anyone else out there a Target fanatic like myself?

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! I am so excited about this weekend I can’t even stand it. I’m heading to Kansas City for the weekend for a good friend’s engagement party and I get to see my besties. I don’t know how I’ll ever be patient enough to wait until tomorrow evening to hug their necks!
