After doing the Hart's maternity photos when Ruthie was pregnant with Lucy, and then coming to the hospital the day Lucy was born, it was so special to come back one week later to capture her at home with the people that love her most. This session has quickly become one of my favorites...how could it not with such a precious newborn, pretty flowers, and an abundance of baby headbands?

"There was no questions about having Mallorie shoot our newborn/family photos after our daughter was born. My toddler son was already comfortable with her since she's done multiple shoots for us before and I didn't have to worry about him being weary around someone new. He was such a grump that day but that didn't phase Mallorie from doing her thing! I was so confident that she would capture beautiful moments, even if he was being cranky, and she did just that! She was incredibly patient with the chaos, especially with a newborn who needed to nurse, be changed, etc. every so often.
